Being One is so much fun. This little one was so happy to be one. She loved little grins and her infamous mean mugs! Which was quickly followed but the most adorable smiles! Choosing outfits for your indoor session can be difficult some times. I adore how this mom switched up each outfit so that she a few fancy dresses as well as a little more casual outfits to reflect her personality.
December was filled with some of the sweetest babies and their equally as sweet families. Little "O" was just one of them with his big brother who OH MY was so sweet. "O" was the sweetest dude and I cant wait to see him in the future!
Family sessions! Black and white are sometimes my favorite! I love the depth they give! Look at sweet big Brother!!
Little Miss C! WOW her Mommy is one talented mamma! She hand knit her special blanket for her and her knit hat! I just adore all the special things that make your session yours! Little "C" you are so loved I cant wait to watch you grow over the next year!
On a Chilly January Morning I was greeted with a big surprise!!
I fell in love with the B family 3 years ago on their first photo shoot with me in an apple orchard. It started to rain mid sessions and we just laughed hid under a tree and keep shooting!! My kind of people! Then a little over 2 years ago she told me she was having a baby and it was a BOY. I couldn't help but chuckle. Being a mom of two boys myself I knew how fun and great of an adventure they would be in for. We laughed durning their maternity session about boys and all the fun things that come with them!! It was a joy watching N grow up that first year and when Mom messaged me and said guess WHAT? I couldn't help but have so much joy for them!! The 3 N are the sweetest kids and I couldn't wait to meet the last one!! Tamara, told me that baby and little man would share the same birthday and I was bursting at the seams to see if it would be a little guy or girl and WOW!! Tamara and Derron did a great job at keeping it a secret from everyone even once they found out on that January day. I came to the hospital prepared with hair bows just in case and.......
Watch the video to see if they were used!! Welcome to the world baby N you sure are LOVED!!
HIS HAIR! Come on, as a mom you always wonder if there will be hair if so how much and so on and so forth! THIS little dude! His hair was so long and had the most amazing Natural highlights, and look at his brothers adorable hair! I think he will be following in his footsteps!!
A special Item; I adored that Mom and dad brought in a special Elephant that means so much to them!! He loved being all snuggled up on it!! I love everytime a parent brings in something special to signify your little one! Whether it be something from their bed room, a hand made item from someone so close , or a legacy item that symbolizes your family! They just add these special touches that makes your session so different than any others!!
When "K" mom reached out to me about newborn photos of her new little one I was a Tad excited because Big Brother "J" just happened to be one of my first newborns. Now a little cutie 3 year old! I meet big Brother when Dad was being a Hero for our country Serving in Afghanistan! Little "K" the sweetest boy with some great features!
When mom brought little "K" out of his carseat I just about melted. His adorable feature from his Dark hair and lashes and his sweet little face that reminded me so much of his brothers!
A was one of the only little ladies in a mix of all the boys in April. And boy she was sweet as can be. She brought with her, her ever so cute big Brother who was excited to see her!!
There is so much that goes into a newborn session and it all starts with a little questionnaire that every family fills out. It helps me to know what your like, your dislikes are, the colors you would like to see and there is also an option for you to let me know in detail if there was anything specific you would like. Like any other session, I just adore when families bring in their own personal touches. Dad is a Fire Fighter for Milwaukee County Fire Department and he brought his hat and jacket in for little L to use during his session. I just adore those special touches that mean something to only your family!!
We can't forget about the siblings. They were well rested and super excited for their photos with their little brother. Look at how sweet these two big siblings are!! There was just so much love for Little "L". There is something so meaningful to me as well when I get to see them in a few months!! I can't wait to see how much little "L" has changed and to see how many teeth his big sister will have in by then ;) who doesn't adore cheeky toothless smiles!! <3
On a snowy February day we did Ashley's Maternity session in Muskego, WI. It was rare to get snow this past winter in photos. Just a few weeks earlier it was 70 degrees!! We were a tad bit cold but we made it!! Look at all the love waiting for the little guy!
When little "E" came in for his newborn session at my studio in Big Bend,WI he was so sweet and a little bit of a rock star. Mom and dad love football so we had to incorporate a little touch of Football!! "GO Packers!!"
Oh little one! I met this adorable family last year when big guy was turning one! He has changed so much in the past almost year and sure loves that little sis!
She was so adorable and rocked her newborn session. Her nursery is Yellow and Gray and I was so excited to be able to use some beautiful flowers from The Pink Peony in Waterford, WI.
Sweet Little Miss, is just what she is. She was so little and sweet! Little "M" wanted to be part of her newborn session with some of the most amazing beautiful eyes. She was so in love with looking around and taking in this world. I can't imagine the journey & adventures her family will go on this year and the joy she will bring by taking it all in!!
The tiny features of Sweet Little Miss they are only this tiny for a little time!!
What its like to photograph one sweet little one on a cold winters day. It was mid January when I meet little Sandler. It was from the moment I stepped into their home that I could feel how he was so loved. His daddy taking tender care of him when mom showed me where we would start their session.
I adore his Elephant room. The tiny details from the sign from a baby shower and the little Elephant rocker that I can see him playing on in just a few short months. And then his name, He has the most amazing name Unique for sure.
Sandler Loved hanging out with his Mom and Dad, And we got a few sleepy moments but Sandler really enjoyed being in the moment. He was happy and content watching what was going on and of course being the star of the show.
We ended Sandler's session with a little bath.
Lifestyle sessions are so near and dear to my heart. They take a glimpse into your life, Your family in a non posed atmosphere where the little things we all take for granted are preserved for our family. Lifestyle newborn sessions are scheduled year round and can be an add on to any posed newborn session as well.
